OUR STORY • TERAS GLENMORE

A small piece of Glenmore.
A legacy for the next generation.

Teras Glenmore began with a family responsibility, a small piece of land and a simple question: what could this place become—something memorable today and meaningful enough to carry forward tomorrow?

THE BEGINNING

A family responsibility, not just a business plan.

Teras Glenmore was not born from a conventional business plan. It began with a family responsibility passed down through generations.

A grandfather entrusted a small piece of land in Glenmore to his daughter, Dani Anjaya’s mother. Over time, that family responsibility became a personal commitment to preserve the place and give it a meaningful future.

For Dani, the value of the land is not measured only by what it could be sold for or what could be built upon it. It is measured by what it can mean for the family, for Glenmore, and for the generations that follow.

A SIMPLE INTENTION“Make a small piece of Glenmore into a place people will remember.”

THE FOUNDER

From technology to a place rooted in home.

Dani Anjaya is the founder of PT Menara Sinar Semesta (MSS), an Indonesian IT and technology company.

Teras Glenmore is a different kind of project: more personal, closer to family and closer to the place where Dani was born. The aim is not simply to own land, but to give the place life, purpose and a future.

THE PLACE

More than a café.

There is coffee. There is breakfast. There may be new food, events, local products, collaborations or ideas that do not exist yet.

That openness is intentional. Teras Glenmore is being developed step by step, responding to local needs and opportunities that emerge in Glenmore.

A place to eat & drinkBreakfast, coffee, simple food and a welcoming terrace.
A place to meetConversation, community, local activities and everyday life.
A place to rememberHistory, family stories, maps and archives.
A place to discoverLocal information, events, businesses and opportunities.

A LITTLE GLENMORE, IN INDONESIA

A bridge between places, people and memory.

The name Glenmore creates an unusual connection between Glenmore in Banyuwangi and Glenmore in Scotland. Teras Glenmore does not intend to replace or replicate the Scottish place. We simply want to introduce a little Glenmore in Indonesia.

For families in Scotland or the Netherlands with historical connections to Java, Glenmore can become a doorway to photographs, documents, family memories and new conversations.

HISTORY & OPPORTUNITY

Preserve the past. Build the future.

We believe history can create meaning, and meaningful places can create opportunity. A healthy local business can support jobs, local suppliers, community activity and new reasons for people to visit Glenmore.

We therefore remain open to ideas: food and beverage, local products, events, heritage, community initiatives and other opportunities that make sense for Glenmore.

Separately, larger business and technology opportunities are introduced through MSS on the Business & Investment page. Those projects are separate from the café itself.

THE LEGACY

What should remain when we are gone?

For Dani, legacy is not simply the size of a building or the value of an asset.

It is the possibility that one day the next generation can stand in the same place and say:

THE HOPE“This was started by our family—and it still means something.”

That is the journey behind Teras Glenmore: from family responsibility, to a place, to a business, to a platform for opportunity—and hopefully to a legacy that Dani and his siblings can continue in their own way.

TERAS GLENMORE

A place to remember.
A place to build.
A legacy to continue.

We are still at the beginning. The door remains open to visitors, families, researchers, entrepreneurs and partners who believe Glenmore can carry both its history and its future.
