GLENMORE • EAST JAVA • INDONESIA
Teras Glenmore is an independent local gateway for entrepreneurs, diaspora and investors who want to understand Glenmore before discussing responsible, long-term opportunities. Technology initiatives on this page are presented separately from the café operation and are being explored through PT Menara Sinar Semesta (MSS), founded by Dani Anjaya.
WHY GLENMORE?
Glenmore sits in Banyuwangi, East Java, a regency with an established agriculture and tourism economy and increasing attention to downstream industry and investment.
In February 2026, the Banyuwangi government announced a planned 30,000 kilolitre/year bioethanol facility in the Glenmore sugar-factory area, linked to sugarcane downstream processing and the national energy-transition agenda.
Banyuwangi has also recorded recent foreign-investor activity in other sectors. These developments do not guarantee returns in Glenmore, but they demonstrate that the wider regency is actively engaging with domestic and international capital.
ABOUT MSS
PT Menara Sinar Semesta (MSS) is the technology company presented as the project sponsor for the proposed Glenmore data-center initiative. The company is based in Surabaya and was founded by Dani Anjaya.
MSS's public positioning for this project is focused on enterprise technology, managed infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity and related IT services. The data-center initiative is being explored as a separate infrastructure project and should be evaluated on its own feasibility and project documentation.
DIGITAL INFRASTRUCTURE
A founder-led initiative being explored under PT Menara Sinar Semesta (MSS) for Glenmore, Banyuwangi, East Java.
MSS is evaluating the feasibility of developing a regional data center and disaster-recovery infrastructure platform in Glenmore. The initiative is currently at an early feasibility and investor-exploration stage; it is not presented as a completed, funded, or certified facility.
The project is intended to explore whether Glenmore can support resilient digital infrastructure serving East Java and selected enterprise workloads, with potential components including colocation, disaster recovery, cloud infrastructure, managed services and connectivity partnerships.
WHO WE WANT TO MEET
Long-term capital with experience in data centers, digital infrastructure, energy or real assets.
Operators interested in regional expansion, disaster-recovery capacity or partnership models in East Java.
Carriers and fiber infrastructure providers interested in building resilient multi-route connectivity.
Cloud, cybersecurity, backup, managed-services and infrastructure vendors that can strengthen the operating platform.
PUBLIC INFORMATION BOUNDARY
At this stage, the website intentionally provides only high-level project information. Precise site coordinates, security design, network topology, confidential customer discussions, detailed power engineering and other sensitive materials are not published publicly.
Qualified parties can request a project introduction. More detailed information should only be shared progressively after identity screening, mutual interest and—where appropriate—an NDA.
CONVERSATION AREAS
These are areas for exploration, not pre-packaged securities or guaranteed projects. Any investment requires project-specific due diligence, land/title review, KBLI classification, permits, tax and legal structuring.
Small-scale lodging, café, cultural experiences and adaptive local tourism that respect Glenmore’s plantation-era story without romanticising colonial hardship.
Local products, processing, branding, distribution and value-added agriculture connected to the wider Raung–Banyuwangi ecosystem.
Site-specific retail, hospitality or mixed commercial concepts where land status, zoning, access and economics can be independently verified.
Potential discussions around connectivity, managed technology, edge/DR infrastructure and local digital services where demand can be substantiated.
CURRENT CONTEXT

FOR THE DUTCH DIASPORA
For Dutch families with historical ties to Glenmore or Banyuwangi, we would rather begin with memory than a sales pitch. Explore the history page, share what your family knows, and—if a genuine business or cultural collaboration emerges—continue the conversation from there.
PROJECT ROADMAP
The roadmap below describes the intended diligence sequence. It does not imply that every milestone has already been completed.
Validate site, land/title, zoning, access, power, fiber and market rationale.
Define phased capacity, resilience targets, technical architecture, capex and operating model.
Engage operators, carriers, technology partners, strategic investors and qualified anchor customers.
Open controlled documentation to qualified parties, including legal, technical and commercial workstreams.
Structure capital, governance, operator/JV model and definitive agreements, subject to approvals.
Construction and operations only after feasibility, approvals, financing and contracting are complete.
INVESTMENT READINESS
Land control/title, zoning, access, environmental requirements and the appropriate Indonesian corporate/KBLI structure.
Written utility feasibility, realistic power roadmap, carrier/fiber diversity and resilient route planning.
Concept design, phased capacity, capex/opex model, target workloads, anchor-customer evidence and operating model.
Operator/JV model, strategic partners, governance, funding milestones and a controlled due-diligence data room.
PRIVATE INTRODUCTION
We welcome initial conversations from Indonesian and international entrepreneurs, family offices, strategic investors and diaspora networks. Please introduce who you are, your country, organization, investment interests, approximate ticket or project scope, and whether you are interested in the proposed data center initiative, another Glenmore opportunity, or a strategic operating partnership.
Important: Teras Glenmore is an independent local discovery platform and is not the Government of Banyuwangi, BKPM, a securities broker, or an investment adviser. The proposed data-center initiative is an MSS project concept, not a Teras Glenmore café project. No investment is being offered or accepted through this website. Project feasibility, corporate structure, land/title, permits, power, connectivity, financing and regulatory eligibility must be independently verified before any transaction.
